This year's Two-Wood Open Singles Competition was held on Saturday 4 July, a lovely sunny but rather windy afternoon. There were 28 entrants to the competition, together with partners and guests. All the limited end rounds of the main competition and the first-round losers Consolation Competition were held during the course of the afternoon and followed by a delicious, traditional strawberry tea. Our thanks to all entrants, helpers, markers, and for contributions of food to the buffet tea. A great afternoon enjoyed by all present.

This year's winner was Peter Nicholson and the nunner-up was Geoff Steel - congratulations to both.

The winner of the Consolation Competition was Mick Tillett and the runner-up was Julie Taylor - again, congratulations to both.
