Competition Finals Weekend : Saturday 30 August - Tuesday 2 September

It was a very successful extended Finals Weekend played in lovely weather, only two showers in 4 days. I thoroughly enjoyed watching all the matches which in many instances were very closely contested.

A big thank you to all the Players who entered the competitions this year and particularly to all the ladies who entered, which helped to make the competitions more enjoyable and viable. It was good to see new players receiving trophies!

A special mention should go to John Cooper who played in five consecutive Finals (carrying two injuries and never considered pulling out) and was a fitting winner of the newly contested Noel Terry Singles Handicap Trophy. It was a pleasure to see the maestro playing shots a lot of us wouldn’t even think about.

A thank you to Sue and Martin Prime for helping with the administration of the competitions and keeping the Website fully up to date with all the winners and photos.

Finally congratulations to all the winners and runners up.

A very successful year, I hope you all enjoyed it and look forward to even more Competitors next year.
