Competition Finals Weekend : Saturday/Sunday 29/30 August

A very successful Finals Weekend with all seven finals played in the two days. Saturday afternoon matches were played in slightly wet conditions but otherwise good weather for bowling. Four of the matches were very close, finishing with only 1 or 2 shots difference, and in one case after a tie-breaker end.

Once again Pauline & John Cooper featured in many of the finals with Pauline playing in all four sessions.

It is encouraging to see that, including the 2-Wood Competitions held earlier in the season, 21 different members have received trophies as competition finalists. Thank you to all who entered and congratulations to all the finalists.
