A colourful Club Day was held this year on Sunday 16 August, the one day each year when we 'let our hair down'.

The afternoon started with a Spider, which Andrew Harvey 'skillfully' won. There followed a triples competition with two jacks, one bowl marked with a sticker which counted double, and some intricate rules, which we all found a little challenging! Nevertheless, everyone had a fantastic time. The winning team was Joan Fawcett, Pauline Cooper and Kay Hyde (pictured above).

The proceedings concluded with a delightful buffet afternoon tea - thank you to all who provided food.

Our thanks to all who helped with setting up in the morning and clearing up afterwards, with a special mention to Gerry Tredgett for organising the games.
